Premier Insurances is a busy locally owned Insurance Broker based in Thurles, Co Tipperary and we are one of the best independent brokers in Ireland. Essential Criteria

Energy and drive with an ability to manage personal lines business in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include a confident telephone manner
Promote professionalism and integrity
Minimum APA qualification or working towards
Applied Systems (Relay) an advantage
Proficient in using internet systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail around procedures and the standard of client files
Compliant with CPD requirements & complete 15 formal hours of CPD each calendar year. These hours must be relevant to the specific function
Minimum 2 years’ industry experience

The Role will include:

Handling and processing renewals/new business quotes and managing an existing Personal Lines account (car, van and home)
Advising clients on most suitable cover and identifying further opportunities in additional policies
Researching insurance companies and negotiating with Insurers to obtain the most suitable/competitive premiums for our clients
Dealing with day-to-day Personal Lines client accounts (MTA queries, claims handling, account processing)

Remuneration & Benefits:

Salary of €32,000 per annum for a 5 day working week but can be pro-rata for a 4 day week if required and will be based on experience.
Wages are paid weekly
22 days annual leave
